Ruralis is a consultancy, based in rural Yorkshire and established in 2010 by David Gluck, former Associate Director with ECOTEC Research and Consulting.

Based in rural Yorkshire, Ruralis focuses strongly on meeting the needs and aspirations of rural communities throughout the UK and Europe.

Our mission is to help rural communities address the challenges they face in this new age of economic austerity and shrinking public services by identifying what is important to them, helping communities understand how their ‘big issues’ can be properly resourced and to bring together expertise to help see these challenges through.

Our approach is hands-on, informed by current political and strategic thinking at European, national and local levels, and built upon a foundation of knowledge of working with rural communities stretching back over 20 years.
