Ruralis works in partnership with community consultation experts, CommuniTask, to deliver the Rural Community Planning Programme (RCPP). The programme is delivered to town and parish councils and neighbourhood forums to help them meet their community-led planning challenges and aspirations.

Our approach allows Councils to work towards the new Neighbourhood Development Planning (NDP) agenda and in the spirit of ‘new localism’ whilst pursuing community planning at their own pace, according to the needs and circumstances of their community.

To date, we have worked with and presented to a range of councils and forums across Yorkshire, including Aberford, Barwick in Elmet, Beverley, East Keswick, Kippax, Oulton….we are always happy to meet and present our views on NDPs and other types of community planning.
